A giant graffiti mural was drawn along Histadrut Boulevard in Haifa, calling for the release of hostages from Hamas captivity.

The artist who drew the mural is Bentzi Brofman from Migdal Ha'emek, who was present at the Supernova music festival the day before Hamas carried out its massacre.

Brofman told Ynet: "After the horror that occurred on that Saturday, I saw some of the faces of the victims and captives. I remembered them. Some of them posed with the wall art that I painted live (at the festival). For some of them, it was their last picture. People who I met, who passed by me, who I spoke with, who helped me, and they are not with us today. It really hit me.

A few young people whose friend, a soldier, was murdered reached out to me. They asked that I draw him. I decided that that's what I'll do. I got a lot of requests from families, and until now, I drew eight victims, some of them really difficult cases. I knew that I would also get to the hostages. When I got to it, everything just happened. This graffiti is also part of the international diplomacy," he added.
