US President Joe Biden revealed that a three-year-old boy is among the American citizens who are being held hostage by Hamas and other terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

The child's parents were among the over 1,400 people who were murdered in the Hamas massacre in southern Israel on October 7. Over 240 people, including dozens of American citizens, were taken to Gaza as hostages during the massacre.

The President discussed the kidnapped toddler during a conversation yesterday (Sunday) with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani in which he tanked the Emir for his help in securing the release of previous hostages and "the urgent ongoing efforts to secure additional releases," the White House announced.

The announcement stated that Biden "condemned unequivocally the holding of hostages by Hamas, including many young children, one of whom is a 3-year old American citizen toddler, whose parents were killed by Hamas on October 7th."

"The two leaders agreed that all hostages must be released without further delay," the statement concluded.

Hamas has released four hostages so far. The first two hostages released were American citizens, while the second pair were elderly Israelis. All of the released and freed hostages have been women.
