Soldiers from the IDF's School for Infantry Corps Professions and Squad Commanders conducted a raid on terror infrastructure located within a concrete factory in northern Gaza. During the raid, the soldiers destroyed tunnel shafts which were located within the factory, and located various weapons, including grenades, Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, RPGs, and other equipment. The soldiers also eliminated terrorists, during the course of a number of battles. Engineering corps fighting at the scene destroyed a booby-trapped structure which was found in the area of the raid. Colonel Israel Friedler, who commands the School for Infantry Corps Professions and Squad Commanders, said, "Ayman Nofal and his companions - you messed with the wrong army and the wrong nation. We will utterly destroy you." Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that Golani Brigade fighters took control of a Gaza City military police headquarters belonging to the Hamas terror group. This headquarters was responsible for enforcing criminal law on Gazan civilians.
