Axel Springer’s most popular newspaper in Germany, "Bild", screened the video of the hostages in Gaza on its HQ building this evening (Tuesday).
Bild, known for its commitment to Israel-Germany relations and Israel's security has joined a special collaboration with the families of the hostages, the Israeli embassy in Berlin, and Israeli activists and artists.
Since the outbreak of the war, Bild has flown Israel’s flag outside its building given sympathetic coverage for Israel, while exposing Hamas propaganda.
Bild’s employees are obliged to sign a clause in their employment contract supporting Israel's right to exist and a commitment to Israel-Germany relations.
Bild CEO emphasized that "it is important for us to give the hostages names and to show the world that they have not been forgotten. The newspaper regards the screening of the hostages as an expression of hope and a symbol of the fight against antisemitism, especially in Germany, considering the terrible consequences of the Holocaust. Never again - is now."
