The IAF on Thursday morning successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target which crossed into Israel from Lebanon.

At 10:48a.m. on Thursday morning, sirens warned of a hostile aircraft infiltration on the Israel-Lebanon border.

Shortly afterwards, it was reported that the IDF had intercepted a suspicious aerial target which crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon.

The IDF confirmed: "A short while ago, following the sirens that sounded in the areas of Dovev, Mattat, and Sasa in northern Israel, the IDF Aerial Defense Array successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory."

Reuters reported that the IDF fired towards Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, shortly after the aerial interception took place.
