Kibbutz Nir Oz on Friday announced that Maya Goren, age 56, was murdered by Hamas terrorists.
The Hostages and Missing Persons Families Forum headquarters said, "We share in the profound grief of the Goren family and the entire Kibbutz Nir Oz."
"Maya (56) was a member of Kibbutz Nir Oz. Mother to Asif, Bar, Gal, and Dekel.
"Maya was a devoted kindergarten teacher and caretaker, lovingly taking care of the kibbutz's children for many years. Her husband, Avner Goren (56) was murdered on October 7 and she was kidnapped.
"Today the family received the tragic update that she was murdered."
