IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari announced on Friday evening that the family of Eliyahu Margalit, from Kibbutz Nir Oz, was informed that he was murdered by Hamas terrorists. Margalit, 75, had been considered missing until now. On the morning of October 7, he went out to feed the horses at the kibbutz as Hamas terrorists invaded it. Traces of blood were later found in the stable area. His horses were also taken with him. Eliyahu’s daughter, Nili Margalit, was kidnapped and was released on Thursday , as part of the final group of hostages who were released before the ceasefire ended. Earlier on Friday, Kibbutz Nir Oz announced that Maya Goren , age 56, was murdered by Hamas terrorists. Previously it was announced that Aryeh (Zalman) Zalmanovich , 85, was murdered by Hamas terrorists and his body is being held by Hamas.
