Three people were killed and four others were wounded by shots fired in their home in Nazareth.
The shooting is believed to be criminal in nature and the result of a family dispute. The victims are all members of an Arab-Israeli family.
From a preliminary investigation by the police, it is currently believed that a man opened fire on his family members and then took his own life.
Magen David Adom personnel treated the wounded and evacuated them to hospitals in Nazareth and Afula. Two of the wounded are in critical condition, one is in serious condition, and one is in light to moderate condition.
MDA paramedic Roman Bellman said: "It was a complex scene with seven casualties. We saw casualties scattered in the arena at a distance of about 200 meters between them. Three men in their 40s were unconscious with penetration wounds, we performed medical tests, they had no signs of life and we had to pronounce them dead on the spot."
"A 65-year-old man and a 40-year-old man were also lying unconscious with penetration wounds. We put them in an intensive care unit and sent them to the hospital during CPR. A 40-year-old woman was lying fully conscious with penetration wounds. We gave her life-saving medical treatment and sent her home. The patients are in serious condition. In addition, we treated a 70-year-old woman who was fully conscious with an injury to her limbs and referred her to the hospital while treating her in moderate condition," Bellman added.
