Police officers operating this morning (Sunday) near one of the entrances to the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem noticed a young suspect who aroused their suspicion due to having her hand under her head covering.
The officers began to question the suspect, who refused to show her hands. After they began the arrest procedure, the suspect pulled out a knife.
Jerusalem district police officers who were present overpowered her and transferred her for investigation at the David precinct.
No one was wounded during the incident.
