Sergeant First Class (Res.), Malkia Gross, 25, fell in battle in Gaza, the IDF reported Saturday evening.
Gross, who lived in the town of Susya, served in the IDF's 9212nd Battalion, in the 205th "Iron Fist" Brigade. He fell during combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
Malkia was a student at in the Or Etzion hesder yeshiva in Merkaz Shapira.
He is the third soldier from Susya to fall in the current war against Hamas.
