The Military Police opened an investigation on Wednesday into an individual who is suspected of impersonating a doctor and accompanying a battalion into the Gaza Strip. The individual accompanied one of the active-duty infantry brigades into the Gaza Strip. The Military Police received a tip about the suspect last week after several soldiers suspected he was not a doctor. In light of the reports, the suspect was removed from the Gaza Strip and is expected to be interrogated.
