The IDF stressed that prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precise munitions, aerial surveillance, and additional intelligence information. "The elimination of the terrorists in the area is a further example of the systematic abuse of the civilian population and infrastructure by terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to conduct terrorist activities against IDF troops and the State of Israel," the IDF stated.
