An IDF soldier was lightly wounded on Wednesday evening in a ramming attack near the Hashmonaim Checkpoint north of Modi'in.

The terrorist attempted to flee but the soldier managed to open fire and neutralize him.

IDF medical forces tended to the soldier at the scene and she did not need to be evacuated.
