MK Yoav Galant (Likud) criticized the conduct of the government and security forces on the Gaza border.

"This is a dangerous precedent. Lapid is giving in to fierce terrorism and making it possible to turn the residents of the south into hostages. Fighting against terrorism requires everything that Lapid lacks - professional understanding, courage, determination, and experience," Galant wrote on Twitter.
