Kan News reported that Israel is expecting election day interference in the form of hostile countries or groups hacking into polling stations to collect personal information on Israeli citizens and posting defamatory images on election sites.

Other existing threats include: phishing scams on election sites as well as additional means of attacking vulnerable civilian targets.
