The IDF apprehended 14 wanted terrorists and confiscated weapons depots in Judea and Samaria. One of the individuals detained was Yehiya al-Sa'adi, a senior member of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization.

During the raid in Jenin, gunmen opened fire at soldiers and a gunbattle ensued in which one of the terrorists was wounded. No soldiers were injured in the exchange.
