The Minister of the Negev, the Galilee and National Resilience, Yitzhak Wasserlauf, commented on the attack in Jerusalem:

"Our hearts are with the families of the murdered who lost their loved ones, and we pray and wish a speedy recovery for the injured. This is the time for quick and decisive steps against terrorism, without legal complications. Demolition of houses, death penalty for terrorists, denial of citizenship, deportation of terrorists' families, and rapid promotion of police reform and the establishment of the National Guard announced by Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir. On this difficult day, we will make it clear to our enemy: they will not defeat us, they will not break our spirit, the people of Israel are strong and united against terrorism, against incitement and hatred. I support the security forces, the commanders and soldiers of the IDF and the police officers of the Israel Police who are guarding our country with devotion for the security of Israel."
