During a search of a house in the Basmat Ta'bun Bedouin village in northern Israel, police seized a Beretta type gun as well as half a kilo of a substance suspected to be a dangerous drug of the cannabis type.

The gun and suspicious substances were transferred to the Israel Police's forensic laboratories for evidence extraction and the suspect, a 21-year-old local resident, was taken in for questioning.
