TikTok has announced an update to its enforcement system, so that in repeated cases of violations of the community rules a further violation will lead to a temporary shutdown, and a number of temporary shutdowns in the account will lead to a permanent ban.

As part of the new policy, any account, personal or of public interest, that violates the application's zero tolerance policy will be permanently blocked on the first offense.
