The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office submitted an indictment against Adam Zir (21), a resident of Jerusalem, after he shot and killed a dog with a hunting rifle.

According to the indictment, the accused met another person who offered to look for a stray dog and kill it. The accused agreed and the two went together to a valley near Moshav Azaria, where they found a stray dog and shot it with a hunting rifle.

The injury caused the dog much agony, and it died a short time later of its wounds.
