Opposition leader Yair Lapid claims that the coalition is exaggerating the American requests regarding construction in Judea and Samaria.

"Just to be clear: the Americans did not ask for any construction freeze in the West Bank, but only standard measures that they always ask for. Smotrich and Ben-Gvir invented a moratorium that did not exist so that they could claim that they firmly refused. This is how it is when you live on TikTok," Lapid wrote on Twitter.
