New York City Mayor Eric Adams paid tribute to the victim of the shooting attack in the Jordan Valley: "Ilan was a New Yorker. His loss is a tragedy. His generation deserves a world free of terrorism, a world where we stand up to hatred and reject the forces that divide us. We stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel today. We are for peace."
