MK Elazar Stern (Yesh Atid) responded to the intensity of the protests against judicial reform and the clashes between protesters and the police today (Wednesday), during which 39 of the protestors were arrested.

"The people's war in the streets is just. At the same time, the work of the police in demonstrations is unbearably difficult, especially when the Police Minister pits our police against the citizens of Israel and increases the use of violence against the demonstrators, who are nothing but patriots who love the country - so are the police."

"There is a clear red line that must not be crossed regarding any manifestation of violence, both by protesters and the police," said Stern.
