Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu criticized the decision of the Ministry of Justice to open an investigation following the throwing of stun grenades by the police at protesters against the reform of the judicial system.

"This is another attempt by the ruling hegemony to terrorize the right-wing camp. Whoever condones police violence against right-wing demonstrators and opens an investigation against police officers who enforce the law against the left does so purely from political considerations," the minister said.
