Defense Minister Yoav Galant states that he opposes refusing to report for duty if the judicial reform is passed, as well as calling for additional dialogue on the subject.

"The situation today requires us to respond quickly. We face heavy and complex external challenges, any call for refusal to serve harms the functioning of the IDF and its ability to carry out its tasks," Galant said.
