A group of Knesset members, at the initiative of MK Boaz Bismuth, joined today in a statement withdrawing their signature from the letter of some members of the coalition against Defense Minister Galant regarding the administrative arrests.

"After we received from Defense Minister Galant a security review on the essential need for administrative detentions, which are carried out sparingly, we decided to withdraw our signature from the document calling for the release of the administrative detainees. We trust the decision of the Minister of Defense, which was made in light of the recommendations of the ISA, and based on security considerations only. We, as elected officials, have a responsibility to calm the public," they wrote.
