In an interview to Reshet Bet, Opposition leader Yair Lapid referred to a quote by Justice Minister Yariv Levin, who said that he would not accept a Supreme Court decision to disqualify the committee for the selection of judges.

"We should not listen to a government that fails to obey the will of the court. I don't see a situation where the authorities won't obey the court's instructions and I think a lot of government officials will doubt their decision to serve in an undemocratic state," claimed Lapid.
