Minister of Aliya and Integration Ofir Sofer spoke about soldiers refusing to serve and attacked former generals and members of the media refusing to speak out against the phenomenon: "There are irresponsible people in the media who apparently do not care about Israel's security - because when they interview someone refusing to serve, they pat them on their back for destroying the IDF," he said.

Sofer mentioned former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's interview with radio host Nissim Mashal and said: "When Bennett said it would not be convenient for him to evacuate settlements, everyone was against him. Why aren't you acting the same way in this case?"
