Following the rioting on the Temple Mount last night, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir held a situational assessment with Police superintendent Kobi Shabtai and chief of the Jerusalem District Doron Turgeman.
At the end of the meeting, Ben-Gvir said the police had his full backing.
"I fully support the brave policemen and express my gratitude to them for acting quickly and resolutely to protect the residents of Jerusalem," he was quoted as saying.
