Due to the fear of floods in the Negev and Arava areas and in coordination with the security organizations in the area, Route 10 will be closed to travelers tomorrow. Depending on the weather and the assessment of the situation, it is possible the highway will be reopened over the course of the day.

There is no fear of a security incident and the closure of the highway is due to fear of floods only. The IDF asks the traveling public to show responsibility and avoid entering areas where there is a risk of flooding.
