The coalition team negotiating the judicial reform published a statement:

"We come to conduct negotiations with an open heart and a desire mind. Ultimatums and flowery slogans for communication at the beginning of discussions will not produce agreements. We call on all parties to show restraint, responsibility and understand the magnitude of the task."

"The coalition insists on its right to promote a reform that will ensure the restoration of balance vis-à-vis the judiciary as is customary in the Western world. The coalition is committed to promoting the protection of human rights in Israel and is holding negotiations at the President's House to reach agreements that will allay misguided fears of any harm to them," the statement reads.
