Jerusalem police chief Doron Turgeman has congratulated Jerusalem district police for thwarting numerous terrorist attacks during the past month.

"Some attacks were foiled due to intelligence information received, while others were foiled due to the alertness of police officers on the ground," Turgeman said. "We are about to conclude a very complex month [of Ramadan] during which officers displayed leadership and great dedication."
