National Unity MK Gideon Sa'ar will propose to the Knesset again tomorrow (Monday) an amendment to the Knesset bill that will allow for the departure of four Knesset members from their party.

According to him, the purpose of the law is to allow four or more Knesset members to legally split from their party even if they do not constitute a third of the party, without sanctions.

"The purpose of the law is to bring about a more correct balance in parliamentary life, which gives greater room for maneuver to at least four members of the Knesset, which is the number equivalent to the strength of a list that has passed the electoral threshold," Sa'ar said.
