MK Gideon Sa'ar (National Unity) criticized the new property tax arrangements.

"The property tax fund law is a perverted law that will cause a lot of damage: it will seriously damage the services provided to residents in the municipalities from which they will take the property tax money, as well as in the construction of residences in them. It harms the incentive for excellence and financial strength in the authorities. It introduces a rift between the authorities in the local government."

"This is not the way to social justice nor to a solution to the housing crisis," Sa'ar said.
