A woman was shot on Sunday evening in the Bedouin village of Sallama in the Galilee.

She was evacuated in critical condition to Ziv Hospital in Tzfat, where she subsequently succumbed to her wounds. The police opened an investigation on suspicion of murder. The background to the incident is unclear.
