Opposition leader Yair Lapid commented on the deadly shooting attack this morning.

Lapid said: ''This is a difficult and sad day. Meir Tamari, father of two small children, was murdered in a terrorist attack in northern Samaria. Terrorism must be handled with a heavy hand, with persistence and determination. The security forces will catch the murderers and make them pay dearly. I send my condolences to Tamari's family and friends."
