Foreign Minister Eli Cohen today (Sunday) began a visit to the Philippines and South Korea during which he will meet with senior government officials in both countries and discuss with them the expansion of ties in the fields of security and economy.

This is the first visit of an Israeli foreign minister to the Philippines since 1967.
