Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai held a situational assessment to discuss the counterterrorism operation in Jenin and the expected anti-government demonstration near Ben Gurion Airport. He instructed all forces in the various districts to sharpen their alertness and preparedness with a special emphasis on terror-related incidents.

"There is no legitimacy to in any way block the gates of Ben Gurion Airport, we will allow legal and legitimate demonstrations," the commissioner stressed.
