The 'Movement for Governance and Democracy' group warns against stopping the judicial reform legislation and say that such a step will lead to the overthrow of the government.

"If the coalition succumbs to violence and threats, it will be the best proof that Israel is not a democracy now. 2,500,000 citizens went to the polls and voted in favor of reforming the judicial system. Stopping the legislation will not stop the protests. On the contrary, they will go and prevail against every step that the coalition wants to take. The protests are against democracy, not against the reform. If the coalition chooses disgrace, it will also receive war, and the right-wing government will reach the end of its path. We call on the heads of the coalition not to give in to threats, and to continue with the reform legislation as soon as possible."
