Culture & Sport Minister Miki Zohar (Likud) has made a speech at a Memorial Day ceremony in Rishon Letzion.
"Even though our enemies constantly try to harm us, we will not submit; we will stand together and we will triumph with G-d's help," he said.
"To all those who wish to destroy us, wherever they are, I say: Beware, because in the merit of our heroes and heroines, our sons and daughters, you will suffer painful losses. To all those who seek to harm us, I say: The State of Israel will forever demonstrate its power and security.
"We must recall that no enemy will ever triumph over us, as long as we are united. And in order that we exist forever, we must fulfill our duty to the fallen, and remain united and strong, and always remember that we are brothers," he concluded.
